- inflammation of a reproductive organ (usually uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, appendix, intestines);
- endometriosis
- ovulation disorders
- polycystic ovary syndrome
- anatomical defects
- bacterial and virus infections of the genitourinary system
- diseases from other systems and organs, e.g. kidney diseases, diabetes, eating disorders, thyroid diseases
- drugs e.g. antidepressant, anticancer, large doses of estrogens and corticosteroids, morphine, cocainew tym np. antydepresyjne, przeciwnowotworowe, duże dawki estrogenów i kortykosterydów, morfina, kokaina
- stimulants: tobacco smoking, alcohol, drugs, large amounts of coffee and tea
- age.

- reproductive organ evaluation
- ovulation assessment (hormonal assessment, USG evaluation, ovarian reserve evaluation, AMH test)
- fallopian tube patency test
